Mindful Winter Solstice Celebration
Sunday 20th December 10am – 2pm
Cost £25 per person, lunch and refreshments included
Come and celebrate Winter Solstice with us in our beautiful award-winning 50 acre Warren Woods.
In these times of uncertainty, our connection with nature is vital for our individual and collective well-being.
Join us for a restful and gentle session of mindfulness, nature connection and reflections on our relationship with ourselves and with the natural world.
Sabine Soosten, Mindfulness Tutor at the Woodland Skills Centre, will be your guide to mindfulness exercises and slow-paced walks around the woodland using your senses to explore nature that surrounds us in a safe, open and relaxed setting.
During this day in the woods we will be exploring Winter Solstice and traditions connected with this celebration. There will be simple crafts/activities using natural materials.
We will have the camp fire lit to keep us warm and your host will provide a simple lunchtime meal cooked over the fire.
Please come suitably dressed in warm and waterproof outdoor clothing- several layers are best – and appropriate footwear (very warm socks essential!) for a walk in the woods. No need to dress up!
We comply with the current Covid-19 restrictions and requirements.
Sorry – no dogs.
Places are strictly limited – Small group size – Booking essential
