The North East of Wales had a strong tradition of smallholders making beautiful, strong, light baskets from woven strips of hazel.The Woodland Skills Centre researched and resurrected this lost craft and would like to share the skills needed to make a small basket. You will be amazed what can be created with a few hazel rods and a penknife!
